BioI was born (or hatched) smack in the middle of wonderland, on Florida's Space Coast. I sat on my roof to watch the first shuttle launch. The Saturn launches are a bit more hazy. Titusville, FL is not more than an hour from Daytona, Disney World, and Cocoa Beach.
My parents told me they found me on the side of the road in an egg....imagine the psychological impact of that!! My mother was a home ec teacher and my father a machinist for the space industry. My hometown was inundated with rocket scientists. In case you don't know, they are a breed all their own and it is still reflected in the city's atmosphere.
I've escaped several times to Orlando, Atlanta,GA and now Tampa, FL. This time I've managed to stay away three and a half years. I landed here because I was escaping an alchoholic x-husband, and decided to go back to school for library science...hey, you don't have to write thesis for the grad degree. It didn't work out for a variety of reasons which I may or may not reveal. I don't care for Tampa that much but it's better than the narrowness of Titusville. I am anonymous here. My heart is in Orlando and I hope to move back or at least closer than I am now.
I am currently the referee of a pride of domesticated and not-so-feral cats. I hesitate to call myself a catlady because my house does not smell like cat urine and only have 3 or 4 in residence at any given time.
